any idea why my comp is doing this?
i can see a few programs then the rest are miles down the bottom!

random... it looks like your display driver crashed halfway thru opening the list. How big is your list? i know that the Add/Remove programs list can be slow to open, and if the driver crashed halfway through opening, you'd get a similar result to that...

try a cold reset. Shut your computer down, take the power cord out for 30 secs and plug it back in

Mine did something similar a while back (like a few years). One app seemed to take up loads of room. I can't remember if it was the app above or below the whitespace, but I re-installed it and its been fine since. Don't know if its the same problem though

dunno, would just be nice to get rid of it.
