Does Anybody know of any good artists who do darkcore (if that is possible) as i am keen to find any type of music darker and eviler than gabba is there also any events in the Uk at all that play this genre?

old nosferatu/Endorphin tracks were darkcore, same for meagashira (still is sometimes), endymion, ophidian (still ismost of the time), D'spyre, Altar of sacrifice, the odd track by the dark twins, trypticon, etc.
if you're looking for a more explicit dark vibe but a slower pace then you might wanna check out doomcore as well.

is angel - ophidian darkcore?
as you can tell im not too much in the know of this side of hardcore

agreed, Angel is just gabber, even if it doesn't really sound like most of the mainstream stuff out there.
If you're looking for darkcore by ophidian one should check out the old supreme intelligence releases and all the older ruffneck sublabels (ruff intelligence 'n stuff). He released under the names ophidian and trypticon.
as for labels, the best darkcore label ever imo was supreme intelligence, but they went out off business. from the ashes of gangsta audiovisuals and supreme intelligence rose Enzyme records. Lots of darkcore on there as well. in the old days there was also FIX records which made a blend of darkcore and doomcore (artists like zanthrax, the brutalist, the raven, thulsa doom, etc.). Nowadays, I suppose the best darkcore imo is from genosha records. The outside agency is top of the bill imo and the rare releases by petrochemical ain't half bad either.

im not sure on how dark you want it but i like evil activities and amduscia. Neophyte also has some good stuff.

they dun have that much real darkcore.. more mainstream hardcore like we used 2 hear it the real hardcore :p
