Last couple of things though, not once did i say i didn't buy (or won't buy) any of the Clubland Xtreme albums - or in fact what i think of them.

Read my post again to explain why i said it wasn't about the music.

Go off on a rant, you deserve to be picked up on it. You never appeared to be that much of an idiot before - i'll put this down to a bad day.

All you had to do was provide a decent bit of input, but you had to choose the 'let's insult everybody' route instead. Think we'll get over it eventually. If i see you out and about you can buy me a drink by way of an apology.

It's been emotional, goodnight.

People's tastes in music differ, no reason to bitch about it. Saying people don't have a right to slag somthing off is denying them their freedom of speech.
So what gives them the right?
By your logic luvinstyles going to raves more frequently does it?
More knowledge or more experience in a scene wont make a tune sound better, its taste.
All due respect your going to accomplish nothing by bitching, instead why not give some logical reason it doesn't suck and some ideas, THEN maybe people can give the album another chance and see for themselves if they think its shit or not.
If you post somthing positive in a thread about an album, people are sure to follow and post more positive things. Instead you drew out alot of negativity which isnt what hardcore should be about.

Anyway...
I agree CXH1 was the better, I always vary my hardcore diet with a bit of everything and this music is defo a part of it ;) Sounds great when im in the mood for it. And yea I never listen to all 60 tracks through in one sit-down.

Looking forward to see how they do this one.

Yeah I agree man, maybe I did go about it the wrong way, but I do get the red ass when people slag off attempts of good material. Kinda narrow minded to not like it, just cuz its commerical, but then again I was a lil by not listening to the mighty words of wisdom djDMS and his all knowing son had to say.

On a serious note NeXuS, I have my head SO FAR up styles' arse, my ham & cheese bad boys rule. You want a sammich?

Looks like DJ Pure is the only person who really doesn't like Clubland X-Treme Hardcore in this entire thread. It's my least favorite of all the compilations, but it's still has proper anthems!

I still stick to the opinion that all three DJ's need to vary up their mixes a bit, and I would offer the same advice to Scott Brown, Sy, and Dougal.

I'm going to go listen to my ham and cheese sammich and eat Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 1 & 2 for dinner.

I do understand what your saying, somtimes albums get the backhand around here and no one has the chahones to post the first positive comment about it :But was is really narrow minded is thinking everyone should think and like the music you like. You should accept that not everyone is going to think CXH or even Hardcore in general is good music. I still have friends who cant stand it and do nothing but bitch about it. But all I can do is give my reasons why I like it, and hope they will too in time. If not, then it's not my problem.

Plus the RBC has got enough fans to take some hard criticism once in a while ;)

btw you had some funny combacks luvinstyles, made me laugh.
And DMS speaks wisdom my friend, proper geezer in my book =D

Anyway back on topic,
No i dont want a damn sammich! >_<

Yeah nexus I understand what you gotta say mate, all I can say is I get the impression that commerical-type albums get slammed in here, and it can't be good. I love the clubland albums, and I happen to have all the respect in the world for Styles', especially as he was the dude that got me into hardcore, and it has taken over my life. I know I shouldn't get so pissed about it, but I can't help but have a pop when the gist of these forums is "commercial hardcore is shit." Styles' is amazing, wicked producer and his sets always rule. Sorry to anyone I have offended

/me ignores all the off topic stuff.

I think the album will sound really good, they have competition now from Hardcore Euphoria and need to come up with something better.

Hahaha Christ boy what's your problem. First of all I'd like to quote myself from the first page of this topic so that you can be clear that I don't dislike everything RBC touches...

I have most of their back cat. on vinyl.

If you read my posts in various album topics you'll see that I bought (and liked) allot of recent albums including Bonkers 16.

Righto... Now to me an "anthem" doesn't mean a good track, it means a track that appeals to the majority. The reason I don't like hearing "anthem after anthem" is because they are all generally very samey sounding and I like to hear a variety of styles if I'm listening to more than half an hour of music. I will Probably not buy this album because, although I may like allot of the material on it I don't like to listen to such unvaried mixes and I'll end up buying what I like on vinyl anyway... Which means I'll be giving more money and/or "support" to the artists who "bla de bla de bla" than you son ;). Not that I fell obligated to do so for the good of hardcore though, if I don't like something I wont buy it.

Now if you like the album... Good for you, go buy it. Just don't try and push your views on people who don't agree with you.

Anyway...

DMS - Yes I know mate.

Jenks - Fair enough mate. Personally I just find myself swapping disks after 5 tracks though so I may as well have everything on one mix so I don't have to :)
