/me dons his flame-proof suit.....
OK, my opinion on the whole Clubalnd series (not jsut extreme hardcore) is that yes, it is anthem after anthem...... but when it comes down to it, I've never bought one of them as a mix. I buy them for the tunes on there as most will never get released on vinyl. They've never really been marketed as mix CDs, they've always pretty much been a showcase for AATW. If you take them for what they are, they're a pretty good series. Some good tunes, some bad tunes (as with 90% of compilations out there).

Maybe it's because in general, theres so much better hardcore than the stuff that gets released on CXH and the newer Bonkers. They're big compilations that are created to be liked by a large amount of people. That means it has to be pretty mainstream sounding. Mainstream != good. It all comes down to opinions, and the people on this site (myself included) just don't seem to be huge fans of these compilations.

How do you expect people to take you seriously when you start calling people names like a child?
I'm not one of them, but there are alot of people who have been into hardcore alot longer than you that wouldn't even consider Darren Styles' music hardcore at all. Don't be suprised when you hear resentment towards the Raverbaby sound.
Also I strongly disagree that every album just gets slated on here, there are good and bad comments in all the threads, you're either not reading them properly of just talking soft. There's never going to be a complete consensus on any peice of music or artist and I'd find it strange if there was, you're just going to have to accept that everyone has different views and yours are no more valid than theirs, you're certainly not going to convince people to adopt your outlook by coming on here and calling people nerds anyway...

Oh so the "old skool 90's were the days" people are gonna help hardcore grow aren't they? I'm not looking to kick shit up, I just get pissed off with the negative attitudes than can mostly be found in here.

Relax and stay ontopic (that sounds like i'm an admin or something haha)
Well, cxh1 was great imo, some fine tunes and a new breed of hardcore putting together on 3 discs.
Cxh2, was also nice, but not if you compare it to cxh1, some outstanding songs like 'save me' and 'connections 06', but the Hixxy cd was a shame!
I couldnt find any track i havent skip on the whole cd. A remix of TATU lol?
I really hope cxh3 will be as good as cxh1, 'only killers no fillers' and please some nice exclusives on it.
By watching the artwork i'm already blown away, lets hope i am when the release is there too.
