Does anyone know if once you have recorded a mix onto soundforge, is there anyway to mark out the tracks for burning a disc with tracks??
Im using soundforge 8.0 btw....

If my memory is correct. You can add track markers in soundforge, havnt got it installed atm so i cant check how for you.
When burning you may have problems with small gaps in the mix where the track markers are. This is fixable but again i cant remeber how.

take the cursor to the start of the mix and hit "m", then put the cursor at end f the mix and hit "m". Then put the cursor at each point you want a track break and (wait for it.......) hit "m".
This creates markers. Then go to (and i'm going by memory here as I don't haef soundforge on this pc) tools > regions > markers to regions and it will convert all your markers into regions funnily enough.
Then somewhere amongst all your menus there will be an extract regions option, which will dump all your regions into seperate wav files ready for burning in Nero or whatever you use to burn CDs

What Underloop said! ^^^
When burning ... look for a "gapless CD" tick box or something!
I can't remember details lol
But I'm sure nero has one somewhere!

Underloop i placed the markers as you said. Then went tools> scripting > and there was a button called "convert markers to regions and extract",
i pressed that and it took a few mins to process but all that seemed to happen was the markers changed from orange to white.
I tried the "save regions as files" button and it does save the regions as seperate files, but it saves them as sony 'perfect clarity audio' files which are not supported by nero.
any ideas what im doing wrong??
