i think there should be another forum designed specifically for stuff from 95. everyone should have there opinions anyway and 95_was_the_time these comments you come out with saying that stuff now is crap and unimaginitive why dont you let the people you are addresing decide for themselves i mean i used to like special bloody d! but i learnt they are rubbish and there is better things to be listening to and it doesnt take much just to listen to another fresh new imaginitive track and think hmm i want to listen to that! maybe people have moved on from 95 and live for the present and the future what other way are we going anyway???

agree with that but the guy does get a lot of people posting on here (some days are so quiet I go after 5 mins) the thing is though unless you were listening to the music week in week out in 95 or any other year you can't say much, I remember loads of sh*te in 95 and loads of great stuff! Hardcore music in any year is always better to listen to live at an event than on your own, on your MP3 or whatever you play it on! I mean if Darren Styles is doing a set playing his hanbag stuff to 1000 people you aint gunna just stand there saying oh I hate this track when everyone else is got there hands in the air and bouncing around!

pffffffft.
No sorry, I don't think it is. You say the music was better in 95, fair enough, in your opinion maybe it was, but don't try and tell me the scene was better then, especially when you don't know what you're talking about.
I have nothing against you mate, you can see from my posts that if you post an opinion, I will give it an honest response.
Just post what you think as an opinion (which is what it is) instead of a fact, and alot more people will take notice of what you say.
On some level I agree with you and Smoogie, I would like it if Hixxy and the like made some vocal stuff with harder kicks, but either way I'm not gonna winge just because he isn't, imo he has no responsibility to us and he should make what he likes, if we enjoy it too then it's a bonus.
Bottom line is; post what you think as an opinion and people will respect it, post it as if it were fact and people won't, simple as that :)

Every message board has that 1 person on there to piss off and annoy everyone, ours is 95_was_the_time. His posts never bother me anyways. On the other hand, I would love to have a copy of "Happy Rave '95" is that the cd with "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on it?

Thats not the "Happy Rave" CD serie people usually talk about. That looks like a German Happy Rave CD, which usually means Happy Hardcore, "Rave" and Eurodance all slapped together type of CD.

Sorry Jenks, I got pissed because I'm a raver but in the USA... I know, I know, you're English, but there are raves in the US! Some kids have been listening to techno, since they were little, in 95' I was 17 and that was the time I started to go to raves!, peace but we're Hardcore, too! NYE, they were spinning OldSkool Hardcore ask anybody, Hardcore was and still is a scene in the US!

I've been listening to Techno since I was 12 (92'), DJ Snuggles had the first all Drum n' Bass show in the US and I used to listen to that on College Radio... So 10 is not even too young... How do kids get into music, they got to listen to it first......;)
