Honestly, the only American Happy Hardcore producer I knew about was DJ Sunrize...he released an album called "This is Noize vol.2: The Return of UK Hardcore" now...if Sunrize is American, why is he putting 2 of his tracks on a UK Hardcore album!!! America doesnt have any cd releases for Happy Hardcore, not since the Happy2bHardcore cds, which were all UK Hardcore. I think America has waited too late to get into making Happy Hardcore, I have heard a track from No Left Turn, sounds just like UK Hardcore! I have seen Sunrize live though, he did a whole Happy Hardcore set, but, from what I have been told, Sunrize doesnt mix HHC anymore.

I think Happy Hardcore should only be a European thing...this is just in my opinion only, dont come bashing on me please. And Japan, since Japan has been in the Hardcore producing scene for years.

Why does it matter where its made? As long as its hardcore...its hardcore.
For the record, Nu Energy USA launches soon...so, keep your eyes open for more US hardcore.

Honestly, I dont know why I said that, I was just in a really really really bad mood. I dunno know, I mean, look how music is so portrayed here, Happy Hardcore would really go into a big commercialism and pull in a "bad crowd". But, you never know, might see an increase of candy kids if there was more Happy Hardcore released on cds, but, I think there is something so unique in the fact that its foreign music. Its just me, I like things to stay to thier roots. I will probobly keep ordering my cds from European releases though.

i think i see what you mean.
I definetly don't want it to get commercialized. It seems its slowly starting to get that way. I hate to see kids coming to these parties thinking its this rave with drugs..thats what its almost come to (around here in the U.S. at least) so i agree with you in that, i too wish the music and the scene could just stay to its roots rather than being this big commercial thing.
The only happy hardcore cd i've ever heard of being in a store was the Happy2bHardcore's long ago..and those were good. Now i order overseas and each cd i get just doesnt seem as good as the first couple i bought.
As for Dj Sunrize..i think the only song i like of his is memoriez. I've seen him live and he just didnt do it for me..a little too freeform (which i dont really like)
So with acts like The Nice Guys coming around, they..yeah sound like UK Hardcore which hasnt really been around in the U.S.

it's easier to get a release through a uk label as 1) they are already making releases & 2) no one here does mass production of hardcore. same reasons most producers here went digital or have their releases put on UK labels

A few people would dispute that, it seems to be a draw between England, Scotland and Holland ;)

Like, with hip hop, rap, and pop, the main reason people listen to it is because its the "cool" thing to do. You get a lot of numb-minded people. The whole scene surrounding rap and hip hop is a more rude attitude. I dont want people like that destroying such a good form of music and scene with tons of cussing and singing about killing and drugs. Hardcore, as EDM in general, is about letting loose, feeling happy, being free, smiling! Dont get me wrong, I know there is cussing in EDM, but nothing like that in other forms of music. And its not trying to say you got to be "cool" to listen to it! I dont think I could follow Hardcore if it started to change for the worse, and honestly, America would do that, just to get it out in the media to get more money. But I dunno, if it was stille listed as "UK" Hardcore, it might not catch on to the whole public, just to the ravers.

But to the artist here in America producing Happy Hardcore, Keep it up, it could turn out to be a good thing, who knows! but ya, The UK will still be there place I get my Happy Hardcore music, unless there are UK artist on American cd releases like the "Happy2bHardcore" cds were.

And actually first (disputed) hardcore techno song is from NYC...
Lenny Dee's Industrial Strength record label with Mescalinium United or whatever the hell that track is called.
Point being, I think Nu Energy USA might very well work and help the US world of hardcore...*crosses fingers*

Yea I hope so too, not enough hardcore here in the states at all. However, I do see where warped_candykid is coming from, and I seriously doubt hardcore would become big enough here for that to be a problem.
