Greetings from Germany!
Hey all,
I just got into Happy Hardcore, and I was wondering which are some of the most popular/most well liked artists around? Also, recommendations are appreciated!
Thanks a bunch!

Welcome to the forums! Try to listen to some of the Bonkers! There are 16 of them and they have been going for over ten years! Best of Bonekrs is out in the Uk on Monday so should be worth a listen! Also any of the Hardcore Heavens are good imo but there our loads of others out so really you are spoilt of choice!

MichaDE.. being from germany.. you MUST have heard of Blümchen!!!
classic german happy hardcore artist
try and find her song 'Herz an Herz'
appart from her.. some hardcore artists to look out for:
Scott Brown
Hixxy
Ham
Dougal
Gammer
Sy & Unkown
Joey Riot
Nu Foundation
VAGABOND (aka dreadhed aka euphoria)
Double Dutch
Brisk
Kurt
Kevin Energy
Sharkey
some dutch hardcore artists (HAAAARDcore)
Neophyte
Nosferatu
Angerfist
Outblast
Chosen Few
Paul Elstak

although you may want to listen to some uk hardcore first (the first group of artists), as the dutch hardcore may be a touch to extreme for your taste at this time :)

I'd take a slightly different route and go to CD's from at LEAST 2 years ago.
I dont know, if i just started liking happy hardcore right now and put in a new new CD from any given label, i'd say..what the hell is this
Meh who knows, might find some good stuff out there but my advice is go for the old!

Theres loads of great sounds coming out of the states at the moment, in fact some of it beats the sounds in the UK hands down imho, but anyway, here are some names to check out. Unfortunately theres not as many compilations, its more of a party scene over there.
Milo
Reese
Sunrize
Blizzard Boys (Phosphor & Justrich)
Sean Apollo
The Nice Guys
Should start you off nicely, you can find those guys knocking around t'interweb. check out myspace for a start

I believe he is, yes. Wasn't he building a studio from 2 shipping crates? Wondered whether that project was ever finished!
