help guys.. ive got loads of hardcore albums on cd, and ive put them onto my pc, but theyre seperate files (understandable).. i wana somehow put them all together to make a mix, without any interuptions or breaks in between

ive got some software which does that, but it seems to make a TINY break in between the tracks, which is highly irritating

anyone know a good program?

You can do that with most WAV/MP3 editors, Audacity is a free program which you can load up all the tracks and basicly re-align them to make one full mix, time consuming though. You can also rip a CD as a full track using Acid Pro, it has options to rip either tracks as seperate or the whole CD as one track. I prefare the Acid Pro way myself.

Or if the mp3, wav, or wma's (if you uploaded it onto iTunes, you can't do this, because Acid can't read mp4's) are already on the computer, you can just send them into Acid, place the tracks together, and render it as a new mp3.

I rip all my mix CDs using freerip - its a freeware cd ripper that you can choose between seperate tracks and "multi-track rip" whic rips them all to one file.

I think the 5th Gen ipod (latest firmware) has the ability not to play the skips though doesn't it?
