Over the years Scott Browns definitely made a lot better tunes, love his old bouncy techno and gabber stuff and about 01-03 made some belters aswell.

Scott Browns technical skills productionwise is also second to none, as in if you mix an evo into almost any other record from this country it'll sound a lot crisper, clearer and actually have a kickdrum. I'm pretty sure Brisk doesnt engineer his own tracks, correct me if i'm wrong.

But dj'ing wise its no contest Brisk is the one, he does things no other dj over here could do with length of mixes and just knowing what tunes will work with each other.

If you havent heard a Brisk mix from 95-97 you need to find one as soon as possible, depending on where he played could be anything from the old happy stuff to the best of dutch hardcore at the time. Mostly a mixture of both and mixed better than anyone else could at the time.

Scott Browns mixes i find a bit hit and miss, some of them he plays allsortsa tunes but others jus seems to be his own stuff. Even in the mid 90's tapes where i like all his productions, i jus dont like a long set with tunes of a similar style and sound.

Brisk has the production knowledge and skill to make wicked tracks on his own (and he has) but he doesn't really engineer them himself much anymore because it takes too much time. He definately knows what he wants out of a track and that's why a Brisk & Vagabond track is so different from a Vagabond track.

And yes, mixing wise Brisk can beat Scott Brown anytime - he is the best hardcore DJ in the world after all :P

You can really tell in his older sets as you say - I have this set from 97 where he plays each track for about 2 minutes yet the mixing is SUPER tight (like, compilation tight) and he scratches, etc. It's crazy.
