i've never had the pleasure of seeing a live PA, but i've heard the most amazing recording of an alek szahala live pa from mayhem 2006...
producing at any decent level is hard as, so i'd say live pa's require more skill! plus, who says u hav to play the songs in ur set thema as u produced em?

I've seen PA's by Orbital, and they are pretty good bcause they adlib really well. I'm just a bit cynical towards some though.
I'd love to see a V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D live PA, also I'd love to have seen The Prodigy doing their live sets.

IMO hardcore djs aint got that much skill, most just beat match and i honestly believe i could teach my dog to beat match.

Also check this out version 1.8 is about to hit (free d/l) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pib5wN0UH2c If a dj can do that sh*t i much prefer to watch that, but if its a standard beat match only dj give me a PA anytime
I don´t understand the good part in this. Sure, he´s good at scratching and have skills on the decks. But who can dance to this? Sure, I don´t like the music he´s playing but he´s like stopping it all up with his scraching and all other things he´s doing. But that´s just my opinion. Maybe all this rnb dancers want to have it like that. I don´t think you really can compare rap, rnb, hiphop with hardcore. It´s so diffrent styles. Hardcore is all about raving. If I had started to mix hardcore like this I would just kill the raving on the dancefloor. For me hardcore mixing is all about keeping the energy up so ppl can dance.

I don't produce so I stay steady with the Decks!, Hip Hop is making that transition computers and all, also Hardcore Techno, the kids play with machines not records (where I live atleast)! What exactly is a PA, it means you play with your sound equipment right?, I couldn't tell because the stage was so far away, just some kid told me it was Live PA..., and he plays out Live PA too!, Jungle though!, I don't really know the technology anymore, just like Cubase and Propellerheads..., which are way too expensive for me!, PA sounded pretty good, not so cheesy, more like Bass Bass Bass and classic Hardcore samples, like "Hard-Hard-Hardcore Power"! I don't really care either way, Just if it's fun to dance to! God it's cold around here, I don't go out much, Just sleep and eat and Drink Hieneken, boring Drunk I am!

I've seen them twice mate. First time was Liverpool Uni, and the second was at the Cream Millenium Party where they brought in the new millenium with Chime...counting down the clock with Big Ben then right into Chime. Amazing.

Mixing anything is easy, when you know how, simple as that really
Id rather not say i prefer mixing or pa's, id rather see a bit of both for some variety, which is rare in hardcore
