Valid points made by all, as people have said it all depends on what you would class as "old skool". To me old skool is 93/94 onwards, to pauldoc it's probably 93/94 onwards (1893/1894 ), but to kayaus22 it might be from 5 years ago. Just a matter of taste I guess.

in general I consider something to be oldskool when it's from the 90's.
Y2K and more recent is all newskool to me :)

Nu-school, cause I got to the "scene" thanks to nu-school. Had heard old-school before but it wasn't to my liking.. So I would vote for Nu-school if you ask me.
*edit*
On a side note, I haven't heard that much old school...

Really depends on my mood. If I'm in a bad mood I tend to listen to old skool. If I'm in a good mood then I like the boucyness of Nu skool. Different times, different places!

IMO oldskool would win easy!
Since back in the day i have never heard anything nearly as good as some of the classics, yes they make good tracks now but when you listen to some of the oldskool stuff ie. bass generator - the event, technotrance - YRS stomp 2 nothing compares
