I can just and so see it happening now so if your quick you will probably catch it!

The Earth is between the Moon and the Sun? Hmmm, wouldn't you have to be on the moon to see any sort of eclipse? :p

The mood was 1/3 covered, and half hour later it was completly covered and there was an orange color around it so must be true, looked quite smart

No. The moon doesn't have its own light. The light we see from the moon is actually light reflected from the sun. If the earth is directly in line it doesn't get as much (it still gets some) light, so you get a lunar eclipse - ie the moon gets "blocked out". This is different to a solar eclipse where the moon passes infront of hte sun, blocking out the sun

That was my reasoning, I was thinking the Sun must be getting blocked out, and it must be by the Earth, so if you're going to see it you must be on the moon! Heh, taxi for me...
