Just interested! because i'm very narrowminded (is that 1 word or 2?) in my music tastes! Only ever bought Hardcore, never ever bought any other type of music for myself! It is the only thing I listen to! Used to go raving every week when younger! (well up to 25) can't go now because of the Boss! (she detests the music)

Very rarely buy anything other than hardcore but my tastes are really varied when it comes to music in general.

As i get older i'm getting harder to please when it comes to listening to hardcore but i reckon that's quite healthy really - ten years ago i'd buy any old shite! But the new, grown up me is becoming more discerning as time goes on - and Radio 2 is sounding better by the week!

I know there'll be a day when hardcore takes a back seat, but for now i'm just enjoying it while i can.

well its affected me loads, before i got into hardcore n listened to stufff like linkin park i was jus a typical music fan eg wen a new cd came out id buy it n listen to it for a bit. now with hardcore as soon as i get home from work ill get straight on the interweb n see wot latest news on the scene is, wot new mixes there is to download, wot local events are comin up, visit forums n av a bit of a waffle n read negative comments like "whys hardcore so shit these days" n just think f*ck off n listen to trance or sumfin if u not happy, n also i listen to it at work all day and wen am cycling to work and on the way home. id like to say i dream about it too but i can never remember wot i dream about so .......................... so yeah its definately affected me cus its made me happy where as rock music made me feel like i wanted to slit my wrists and bang my head against the wall....... even though i still like linkin park... without that tw*t jay z

all it's really done is made me think, OK, i like this genre, and now i will add it to my list of genres I like.... I also listen to ska punk, folk music, anything! so yeah, all it's done is just made me think, I like that!! heh, but it has to be the old stuff or the old-sounding stuff.

it affected my life quiet a bit...lately, not so much =P

it was a nice change from listening to pantera & megadeath. it introduced me to a this whole 'rave' thing. I'm thankful for all the memories it brought me but it seems like most of them aren't hardcore related =P

guess that's what happens when you grow up living near chicago and you get assaulted by house & techno...and booty house mmmm

Electronic music has always been my love, even since I was a kid. My cousin would listen to the early Euro Dance music, which I loved. Hardcore has played a big factor in my life. It got me started into the whole candy kid thing, it made me feel good to listen to music no one else knew about in my school, ha, and it made me feel overwhelmingly happy. It also led me to the rave scene, where I found where I belonged. Hardcore, well, Electronic music in general is all I listen too, I cant get enough of it.

Well it's changed my life dramaticly, it was the first style of music I got into all by myself. Nob of my friends listened to it and it made me unique, gave me confidence ect. I've learnt how to use decks because of it, I've learnt how to make a few tracks, but most of all I've found my future wife because of it.

Can't say fairer than that.

At first i read the question i thought not a lot, i've 0% loyalty to any music i jus go to parties i like and buy tunes i like.

Then thought about it more though it was the first music i got into, made a lotta mates through it, travelled to holland for some of best times of my life, makes up most of my vinyl and spend quite a bit of time on forums or mixing it.

So aye has effected me quite a bit
