Never seen him on a flyer before, is he like Vagabond & can't DJ?
If I was as good at producing as Vaga, I'd make it my mission to learn how to DJ!

Not that it's really my place to answer this for him but...
He did play for us (at Elation) a handful of times as Stargazer, and was persuaded to play as Cube::Hard at a Bedlam once. Generally speaking though, it ain't really his thing.

Taken from the Next Gen site:
quote: DJing is something that Sam has enjoyed occasionally in the past, but it has always come second to producing - "Its a great buzz playing to a crowd of up for it ravers, but I’d enjoy it a whole lot more if I could actually mix without clashing the beats on every other tune! DJing is an art that requires a serious amount of time and dedication, and after mixing about 3 records I get frustrated and go back to the studio to work on a track instead. I have a lot of respect for the bedroom DJs that practice daily and of course for the ones who deliver the goods without fail on the decks at raves up and down the country."
It's a shame that both don't exploit the quality of their tunes to the fullest extent, yet let others do so.

I had this email back from the guys over at RFUGrey when I asked a similar question a while back.
quote: simply because Cube::Hard doesn't DJ and
hasn't got himself in a position to do a live performance he would be
satisfied in. Fingers crossed, the live angle is sommat we will pursue this
year.. and more info if and when it happens
quote: On a side note.. we are kinda pushing Tom to mix a Bonkers, and it looks
kinda good in that area. However... a cheeky email to Sharkey or React
asking for Cube::Hard to mix a Bonkers Cd wouldn't do any harm.. heh
You heard the man.

which is fine
Brisk is an amazing DJ and he's the one that really gets Vag's tunes exposure
Much better than having a poor DJ play them
It also means he has more studio time
