I think it could be either. Some people are gay out of choice, some are because it's in their nature. ex. one of my mates uncles is gay and has known he is since he was 12, it was just a natural thing to him. But someone people turn gay for reasons like bad experiences with women and just like men more, which I think most blokes here can sympathize with cause we all know how lasses can be, hahah.

lol this thread is going to go so downhill fast.
My brother is gay, I don't think its really a choice to be or not as he is almost afraid of what my family thinks of it (parents are still yet to find out).
I don't think he wants to be in a sence but... I dont know how to put it.

In our intollerant society it can bring you more trouble than being straight and who wants to be discriminated even more then we all probably are already???
the thought of choice in sexuality is stupid.

I think its possible to be born gay. When a fetus is in the womb there is a point of devolopment in which it's neither male or female. Something could go wrong here and nature gives you the brain of one gender and the body of the other.

True, but homosexuality has no valid reason to be illegal, as it involves consenting adults. Sexually abusing minors involves one party which is either forced, or unable to knowingly consent (though the age of consent should be lowered, considering that from at least 14, pretty much everyone knows exactly what sex is and how it works.)

You can't control who / what you are attracted to IMO. The main thing I would like to get out of this topic though is what the hell has Nate got to do with it - if someone wants to be gay in Nate then that should remain private between the 2 of them.

i think it's a choice that most of us make early in life so thats why i think that most ppl don't remember makin the choice i made that choice later in life so i remember it claerly and as far as peadofiles go those ppl are broken and need help they did not choose to be that way i mean who would that kind of life not me.
