Depends what its made from. Dubplates were made from acetate. I get the impression that this is actually cut onto vinyl

Yup. "Vinyl dubplates are made of hard-wearing plastic and last as long as pressed vinyl records. Mix, scratch, rewind and play these plates as many times as you like with no audible deterioration over long periods of time." :)

It's actually PVC biscuits that are used. Mine's been played about 20 or so times and still sounds mint. I'm working on a few trancers and a house track ATM, which will be cut by these guys. I can't sing their praises enough!
