Does anyone use it?
I finally got mine all up and running lastnight, and i think its great, but does anyone have any tips on things that can be done with it to make it more intresting?
Another thing, how do you beatmatch manually? The Sync button is good but id rather not use it!

I use it!! :D I love it.
Alright. It's complicated.
Basically, what you should do is set up a hotkey system that works best for you. I would suggest experimenting with everything and changing your hotkeys so that you can mix efficiently without too much mouse moving.
For beatmatching. You basically pitch up the songs how you want and pay no attention to it's auto sync crap.
You can adjust the speed of the songs by using the fine pitch adjustment (just like on a turntable) to keep them in sync.
Having your cue/pause toggle hotkey and play/pause toggle hotkey for each deck is very important.
To make things interesting, check out the effects that they offer (delay is particularly fun to mess with adding pellas to your mix.)
It has a whole lot to offer, so get crackin' (if you want of course.)
Here's a screenshot that shows you what buttons I'm talking about.

^^^ What he said!
hot key wise, how I have mine set up is the number keys above the keyboard decide which deck is in focus (1 = deck 1, 2 = deck 2 etc), space is my cue/play button, up/down cursor are my pitch controls, with either alt or ctrl + up/down fine resolution, and left/right cursor nudges the record.
Can't remember what soundcard your using Jax, but I'm hoping it has at least 2 stereo outs. 2 ways to use this from here - 2 outs to your 2 ins on your mixer and treat it like decks, or 1 out is your main out and the other is your monitor out and you do your mixing internally.
Its just like glorified decks really. You can even do spinbacks and stuff with it by grabbing the waveform and "throwing" it backwards. Theres a hotkey you can setup for this but I forget what it is

^^Yeah, I use a touchpad, and it's fun to spinback and try to scratch with the touchpad (but no luck.)

Cheers
Ill have a look into getting all the hot keys setup and see how much better it is. I tried using the pitch dial to pitch bend but it was a bit messy to say the least, knowing i can set a key to move it up and down is good news!
I got this soundcard so ive got 4 stereo outs, i think

Ill get some mixes posted up as soon as i get it all sorted :)
