Seriously though man, you just sound like your throwing your rattle out of the pram. Silver explained why the post was deleted, why have you proceeded it with rude posts?
Because silver forget to mention he was wrong! And still is trying to insinuate that i was telling him to use p2p!
Ok i have qualifications in english but i honestly can not understand what is so hard for you to undertstand what i am saying
If you can get "go use p2p to d/l music" from my original post which was "MAYBE IT WAS CALLED THAT ON P2P" then you grasp of the english languague is on a par with silver's!
quote: Dude, I'm not going to argue with you, we both agree that I read it as "use p2p" so it was deleted.
Again where did the "use p2p" come from? Also i am afraid to say i never agreed you read it as that!
From previous post - It is beyond me how from that 1 sentence you could draw conclusion such as that i am telling him to use p2p, yet you still think i agreed with you? Is english your native langauge?
@DMS yes your right the remark about putting the forum somewhere was childish (although i would not say it was petty)
But at the end of the day silver wins why cause it is his forum and personnal i do not want to be part of a forum that is so petty, but serious that is another member you have lost think hard about how you moderator this forum cause keep it up and it will be deader than it already is!
And a bit of advice silver it take a bigger man to admit he was wrong, you could have at least came with an excuse! I misread it etc...

So essentially Fonz, you have got your beef on with the fact that you want Silver to post "I was wrong, you were right" instead of explaining why he did what he did, which is essentially admitting he was wrong in a more constructive way that perhaps doesn't flatter your ego?
The rules are there for a purpose. When you run a website you have to decide your target market for the site, and your general principles behind it. Then you lay down the rules. As far as I have always been able to tell Silver has set up this site to promote Hardcore to as broad an age range as possible. As such he has set up swear filters in order to keep the site the equivalent of PG rated and he has set up various rules that protect not olnly the site, the sites reputation but also the Hardcore scene in general (hence the filesharing rule).
Admittedly, delting the post - perhaps a bit harsh, although I try to edit where I can rather than delete if I think it needs to be.
As regards the lack of moderators using the site, we are all pretty busy people and have lives outside t'interweb. Between my various commitments I am working about 75-80 hours a week right now. Doesn't mean I don't check the site when I can - just because I don't post doesn't mean I'm not lurking :-P It also means we don't always read posts as thoroughly as we should do. Try it some time and time how long it takes each day out of your life to read each and every post thoroughly - its understandable that mistakes are going to happen.
And yeah, Silver's English is sh*te - thats because he's an Ozzy! ;-)
So, anyway, essentially what has happened is Silver mis-read something and acted on it, you complained about it, Silver admitted his bad and your demanding he gets down on his knees and grovels? Well, tbh at first I was on your side and completely understood your grievance, but after reading all of your posts I would refer you to your first sentence..... s*it happens!

Get over it Fonz yeah. I've been on this site for about a year now & love it. I'm on here everyday & i don't see a problem with anything. If you don't like the rules or the way things are done then find another forum yeah!!

Ill explain what i mean. Obviously people have commitments outside the site and rightly these are more important than anything else.
Its hard to see people lurking and working on things that are not forum based. So the only way that I can judge activity on the site is through posting and moderating on the forum. Or how access rights to various parts of the site work. So the below may be wildly incorrect.
Ill use Nexus as an example, I hope he doesnt mind. Seems to be the most active of all the moderators. He is also on when others are not. (the beauty of living in the jolly US of A) Yet he is only an events mod. That to me seems madness (no this isnt Sparta)

On the contrary lad, although deader is a word, the context you used it in is what i was refering to. you said "it will be deader than it already is". to use that adjective properly i think you meant EITHER "it will be more dead than it already is" OR "it will be EVEN deader than it already is". Now, let's not go round in circles and create another "situation of pettiness", i wasn't trying to "school you", i was just questioning if that was really what you meant... the point of this is that: 1) It is YOU who is being petty, going on as if you have been victimised, 2) Silver made a mistake and explained that it was a misunderstanding and rather than get personal (like you have done, which is now a different rule of the site you have broken) he said nothing back and you have attacked not only him but other members. Sounds to me like he's the one being the bigger man. You've also lost my support now, "lad". i was on your side and thought you were talking sense too. Looks like we all make mistakes.
