Alright, it ain't their wedding day anymore.
Just have to went out, but a friend of mine commited suicide yesterday... :( (his grandfather's revolver involved...).
All life stopped when I heard about it, mum in tears telling me he had commited suicide...

Still can't believe it =/ It's too horrible to be true...

What drives people over to end their life and cause lots of pain to their friends and family?

end of rant (sorry if I sounded like an attention seeking wh...)

Honestly... I dont know.
Giving up is what seems to me to be their thoughts, thinking they cant go on. People worry way too much theses days. Money is too important in people's minds and think that if they don't achieve their dreams they arn't happy.
Everyone needs to just slow the **** down and learn to enjoy the small things. Stop to feel the breeze once in a while, let a good conversation with a friend make your day, be happy knowing that you exist for a reason.

If you're planning on commiting suicide, that's usually not an option. Often this is because of a serious neurochemical imbalance which results in them being unable to enjoy life. Quite ****ing literally, these people can't just slow down and learn to enjoy the small things. More often than not, they feel so horrible, they feel their death would be an improvement of everyone else's life, and they don't deserve to live anyways. Now that's not to say that people can't try to help themselves be happy more, but don't go ****ing blaming people for commiting suicide because you're able to be happy. I've been down that road to the point where I had full plans of doing it, and it's not just a matter of being too caught up in life. I'm just lucky I had the other end of bipolar disorder, or I quite probably wouldn't be here today.

Sorry if I came off a little angry there, but I am.

And sorry about your friend Roberticus. What a horrible thing to have happen to anyone.

The problem is is that they don't think so. Most of the time (because there really are situations where it's just selfish and stupid, but not many) they're reached a point where they think so lowly of themselves that they think the only thing they can do to make the world a better place is remove themselves from it. I'm not saying it's right, but it is worth understanding.

Suicide is never an option for anything. Weak people see it as an easy way out, and pessimists see life as "what's the point?" The point is you should just stick it out and get help if need be. There are many people who can help. Sometimes depression is a symptom, and some people don't think it is a problem, but it is. I personally don't think anyone has any reason to end their own life unless it is something like a terminal disease.

If you don't mind me asking, did you notice that your friend was feeling different about himself?

It's a little close minded to say it's just selfish and it's a bad thing to do. try to understand the kind of mind set you have to be in to do it. imagine you actually believe in the depths of your heart that you have no reason to live, that's how it feels. a friend of mine commited suicide 2 years ago. he was clinically depressed and no amount of help or medication would take it away. in all honesty im happier he's up there than down here feeling like he did. no one should have to go through that
