ahaha sweet and savoury can sometimes go really well!!!! like chocolate and popcorn or chocolate and chips (as in crisps)

and lilley OJ can sometimes be a killer in the morn after a hangover.... better to have a chocolate milk or something cheesy, relines the stomach. the acidity in orange juice could cause more harm than good especially if youve been sick from drinking already... lol my friend learnt that the hard way :S

Banana and chocolate pizza!!! Yummy!!! You have to leave the tomato sauce off though.

We have different food days in the office. The last one was Fromage Friday. Unfortunately one of the lads I work with got a bit confused and brought a selection of custard creams, bourbons and ritz crackers. Custard creams taste quite nice with a nice slice of white stilton and blueberry cheese on top!

I have a friend who likes to eat wotsits and gravy. Another friend (Dean :-P) bet me i wouldn't eat sardine paste and jam samwich, and i did. Must admit it wasn't terrible but i wouldn't recommend it! :-P

About 2 or so years ago I used to get 3 or 4 Mars bars. Put them next to each other in a big bowl. Microwave them until they melted. Then while they are hot smother them with COLD ambrosia Devon Custard.. LOVELY!!

I ALWAYS HAVE CHOCOLATE AND CHIPS (as in crisps) lol

I also have peanut butter and honey a lot. What DOESNT peanut butter go with?
Tomato sauce sandwiches are pretty good...
nutella also goes with just about everything... melted nutella and peanut butter on toast is good
Ice cream melted on cinnamin doughnuts is also crazy... if your feeling a bit crazy also try putting maple syrup on it. You seriously cant go wrong.

And milk and dairy products upset the stomach. They cause mucous which in excess upsets the stomach. Also because about 75% of people are lactose intolerant (in some form or anothrer) chances are it will make you worse. But you also dont want to drink just water because your body finds it hard to breakdown because theres nothing TO break down. Better off drinking sports drinks like gatorade.

Sorry but that just aint right... Our bodies are built on the assumption that water is what we will be drinking! Water is the best thing you can drink.

I think you read this on a sports drink advert or something... Don't believe everything you read.

nah i learnt it from going to hospital when i had gastroenteritis. They wouldnt give me water, only sports drinks coz i needed to get back the salts and sugars into my body. Which is what you need when you have a hang over. Dehydration isnt the whole problem.

They would have been saying that's what you needed at the time not what everyone needs all the time...

*edit* Sorry I missed a post when reading. Didn't realise you where talking about what to drink on hangovers... Think I need to pay more attention.

You can still find deep-fried Mars bars at various chip-shops, but they're more popular up in scotland along with (EEK!) deep-fried haggis, kebabs even pizzas!

Anyway, haven't got any drunken recipes to share, but here are a couple of my favourite "creations":

Breakfast sandwich:

Lightly toast two slices of bread then butter them. Put peanut butter on one slice and strawberry jam on the other, slice a banana and whack the lot together. Yum.

Chinese-style ham sandwich:

DON'T butter the bread, but spread mayonnaise on one slice, and hoi-sin sauce on the other. Whack some sandwich ham on one slice and shove some sliced spring-onion on the top. Finally, put a few spinach leaves in there (trust me...) and et voila! Amazing stuff.
