Hey guys!

Here's a brandnew track from me. It's two guys fighting about hardcore. One likes happy hardcore, the other likes it hardcore.

I hope you like it

I can't tell if this is genius or not...perhaps that's a good thing. :P

AND: Typical Cordharel song. I think you need someone to collab with.

Funny idea, I think CorDharel should be it's own genre of hardcore. I like the song, but my only suggestion is that it sort of ends abruptly. Try adding more arguments towards the end to bring the track to a close.

Well Hard Daze I try to make professional happy hardcore but its very hard. But I am getting better, and I won't give up hope. I am just 22 years old now and have enough time to learn more

I love this "trance" part. I used to listen to trance tracks and I always loved these parts of the tracks. Now I finally figured out how to do them and I got very excited about it.

But I discovered a sad thing: When I listen to the track on my computer where I built it, the masterd version sounds awesome. But when I listened to it in my car, it doesn't have any bass or something.

How can I ensure to make a track sound good on every station? Do you have some useful tips for me? I'd be very grateful.

I already figured out that I had to more bass in my older tunes, so I tried to give more attention to the higher frequences this time. And on my computer it sounds really good but in my car or with headphones it doesnst sound very well

But I thank you all for giving me feedback! This really helps me. And Mr igloo sorry for the confusing.

My brain a splode.

Oh and for helping your mixdowns sound good everywhere, studio monitors are the only way to go. A high quality set of active monitors will let you know what your mixdown sounds like on an acoustic blank slate.

Okay. Now that may sound kinda newbish but what's the difference between normal boxes and studio monitors?

And what studio monitors could you recommend on this page:

http://shop.musix.ch/ecommerce/index.php/gclid/CNqE1rCsq40CFQ5oXgodB23DxA/cPath/93_749/page/1/sort/5a?osCsid=24df8e919210c5998bb7139f91f80272

And what do I need to connect such a thing to my computer?

Studio monitors are designed to have the best possible sound quality. Often times there's a weak bass response, distortion at high volumes/high pitches, or other imperfections with regular home speakers. I'm not exactly the expert on monitors, but go to http://www.dogsonacid.com/showthread.php?threadid=257992&cache=17 and scroll down. Under "hardware" you'll find a bunch of threads on studio monitors, and they all have some very informed opinions on them (it is a dnb production forum, so if you need advice from engineering obsessed producers, it's the place to go.)

Cool thank you for the information.

Geowat
That would be wicked! Let me know if you really do I would freak out if I would hear my track in a mix

I guess I will have to save some money from now on to buy some studio monitors :)

Hmm I wonder if it's possible to pay an expert to master my track. I mean someone who has the right equipment to do it. Do you think that's possible?

Thanks Mr igloo. Is this your site? Or have you got good experience with this page?

It looks very friendly... I'll definately check it out.

Hmm just good to know: How much do you think a single track will cost to master it? Is there a default value I can refer to? I have no clue how expensive mastering is. 20$? 50$? 200$? more?

It's actually the site of Ruffage (he posts here occasionally.) I can't guarantee anything about price, as he appraises each track somewhat differently, but when I got a terribly mastered song (like, clipping 8 db above zero kind of terrible) it was only appraised at 30 bucks. Once I get confident enough in my stuff, I'm definitely going to get my tracks mastered there.
