....so, if out of tune singing was OK ten years ago, that means that it's OK now

The effect at the start of the song (and is also heard after the build-up) sounds almost exactly like the effect in Gammer - "A New Feeling". :P

It's quite a good song but the vocals might need a bit more volume or something. They don't sound so engaging. Maybe filter them a bit more?

It means that if much worse vocals were acceptable, then these perfectly good sounding ones are definately fine.

C'mon guys stop arguing.

there are out of key vocals everywhere. Thing is the majority of people cant tell the difference so it doesnt matter a lot.

I can guarantee my samples are my own though. I didnt plagiarise from anyone :)

Anyway theres been an update. The full track has been posted up. Focus your attention on listening :)

like the vocals glitches. the vocals are definaitley more prominent n grabbing. i think this is probably your best work so far (that i've heard anyway). like i said earlier it feels really happy and energetic, i love it!

No.

I'm not slagging off the singer. The vocals are good but not that good.

I stand by what I said.

Influx you've produced another excellent track. Sort the vocals mate, even if most people can't tell the difference.

Ah I know these vocals, from Paul Browne I take it?

Yes, the vocals are out of tune in places, but wouldnt take much to fix... just put them in melodyne and push the offending notes into key.

Im not a massive fan of the vocals, they are a bit obvious and fluffy... there are a few outlawed words in hardcore vocals in my oppinion, "key", "heart", "rainbow" all have to be high offenders.

Would of liked to hear a bit more originality regarding the pads, strings etc as you havent really changed them from the original 140bpm preview versions.

hahaha i am COMPLETELY stumped at how you knew all that bee. You never cease to amaze me.

When you said there wasnt much difference from the 140 bpm samples of the pads did you mean the synth or the actual progression? Coz i felt the progression was good so i only changed the parts that were really niggling at me. And, the track isnt finished.

I still want to put a slight arpreggiation on layer of a pad through the vocals coz it sounds a bit empy before the piano comes in (in my opinion). Ive also gotta actually add the second verse in there; with some melodyne action :) Its all gravy though.

Will post up the final update within the next day or two.

Cheers for all the feedback everybody
