Sounds like a great idea.

I think really it would work better if it was just one CD with about 22-24 really strong tracks on it.

Perhaps people could post clips of the tracks in low quality so everyone can vote on them and have some sort of point system. That way perhaps it will keep it a bit more varied. Would be better if it had a bit of everything on there!

Sweet and simple and best kept that way.

Anything more complicated would probably never happen.

Instead of burning them to discs, just release it in mp3 format. Basically no cost except for bandwidth.

To get round any legal ramifications release it free and welcome nominal donation fees

yeah thats y i sed original trax by membeers, for the legal reasons 2. it wud b betteer on c.d coz then we wud have a hardcopy of our own trax on a compilation, and like sum1 sed earlier, sum1 cud design a cover and everythin. i realise it wudnt be a massive seller, but its not about that, its a souvenier and an exciting project that we cn all work on n talk about tgeva for us, u never know who may be listening, and we cud easily get a lot of copies sold, the amount of members on this site, and if they tell a friend etc, advertise it on ur myspace page, facebook etc. it cud sell 1000 i fink, dont u agree?

Doing it just for fun is cool.

If it sells, it sells.

If it doesn't, it doesn't.

....no-one here is Simon Cowell, so let's be different and do it for fun

instead of spoiling it by thinking about making money and becoming famous....

I'd happily shell out some cash for something like this, sounds like a cool idea.
Don't think I could contribute very much other than moral support though :)
