well thats typical! If England do get that slight chance of qualification on Wednesday, they now have to score 3 goals against Croatia without Rooney and Owen! (previding Russia draw or lose and Croatia lose to 2 shite teams)

How do you work that one out? You're talking about winning the group. Macedonia are beating Croatia 2-0 at the moment, so if we beat them 3-0 on Wednesday we will top the group!

thats very lucky, russia really should have won
a) israel was running their second team (sort of) and
b) israel's coach is russian (i think) and wanted russia to qualify.
would be so class if england didnt qualify

Their coach is Israeli. Why would it be class if England didn't qualify? More people around the world are going to want to tune in in summer and watch England play than Russia and Croatia put together... or is it that colonial chip on your shoulder talking :p

always good to see some high profile team get screwed over by the littleun's. Ridiculous idea having a friendly so close to such a potentially important game. I'm much happier now we're back in the running but if we don't qualify and it was Mclaren's idea to play Austria then he should definitely go for ballsing up our chances!
