^^^This is the satanic symbol. This is the one you need to be worried about.
It's all based on whether the star point is pointed up, or pointed down.

on a spinning piece of vinyl, it's sometimes both  . and like i said, it wasn't just pentagrams... other stuff too. i just wanted to know everyone else's opinion on it.

Whether this 'dark' stuff is used deliberately or not who knows?
I reckon it's not good to use anything in ignorance just because it might look cool.
It's said that ignorance is bliss
but sometimes I'm not so sure....

hmm. essentially all signs/symbols that are taken to be 'evil' were originally pagan symbols. Also a lot of the christian festivals we celebrate were pagan festivals. back in the day, the church used the festivals for their own purposes, and gave them a meaning that the rest of the world could understand, not just some tribe. im fairly sure scholars think jesus died roughly middle febuary or march cant remember which.
but yeh thats more or less the only thing in the da vinci code that was accurate

no one was talking about scary anything last time i checked...
and it was more so the line from that song coupled the lovely picture on the label of burningly hot flames that i was getting at. that line on it's own doesn't have much relevance to anything.

in all seriousness though, i would be incredibly surprised if ANY hardcore artist (uk, dutch, italian, whatever) used the imagery you're talking about to actually represent devil worship.

good is relative, evil is relative... what is perceived as one thing to by someone can be something completely different to the next. i don't see what's funny about that statement.

Many hardcore producers are uneducated...
Consequently, many don't know the meaning of the samples/images they use in their tunes/records.
I don't think you should read into any of this - the producers in question simply don't understand or think "it's cool" to use such imagery.
To be honest, I would use weird samples without thinking twice about it because I don't believe in what you're describing.
