If your gonna say that, then at least add Unknown, as he was invloved as well. Under there Tranzit guise. Not one of the better tunes on Bonkers 7, that i will agree with.
I thought Tranzit was a dj seperate from anyone else.... i also understand that Orbit 1 is running around out there as ryg0r and The Acolyte to...................,.... These are the Only Ones Ive heard of for sure any others.. any 1 wanna let me in on and maybe explain to me why it would be neccasary to have multiple names to release stuff under and any other people running under multiple aliases would be great..........:S

If you think they are the only ones then you have a lot to learn my friend.
For info on aliases try here http://www.discogs.com/ it will tell you loads, search for Scott Brown for example. I think sometimes artists use different names so they can try different styles of music, sometimes for different labels, sometimes so to see if they can sell a track based on the track alone and not the name...loads of diffferent reasons.

How about when you buy a cd, look in the inlay, and it will tell you the name of the people in the group. Usually, it will just be the 1st initial and the last name only. I guess the reason producers have multiple names is to release a different sound, a different genre, or simply because they can.

yes there is a lot of hardcore djs which produce under different guises, most of the reasons already stated, but sometimes when more than 1 dj is involved they will go under something different e.g hixxy & sunset used 2 go under antisiocal & o.m.g,and sy & unknown have went under a lot of guises such as the vampire, insight, mad dogs,sy project, unknown project

Why would you be angry? It's not just something done in hardcore but other music and it's went on for absolutely ages. It shouldn't be about an artist name, which it is nowadays. eg: - Scott Brown renaming things like Scotchman and LOH to Scott Brown so he can put his own name over. It was just about the music. The artist name was mostly irrelevant.

It's also when releasing vinyl. It creates the illusion that there's more producers, and looks more interesting.
Than for talking say, just looking at Evolution Recs and seeing Scott Brown beside every release. Better when you see,
Scott Brown/Bass X/Plus System/Hardcore Authority etc etc
Plus, aliases are good for when it comes to making music, and diffrent styles. i.e AMS. When he's AMS, his tracks are more freeform/Darker. But he goes under the guise of Resist for Happier productions.

Woot!? Resist is AMS? Cool! Resist is really good, especially when paired with Impact! Need to check out more AMS tunes now (I only bothered listening to a few - but Pump It Up and Go Insane from Bonkers 15 are great!).
