Ive heard a lot from a lot of people about the difference in the rave scene here and the UKand US.
Here we have people sitting down n the dancefloor who are ****ed out of their mind, and around the sides, and really only up the front is hectic "moshing"
Apparently, you'd NEVER see that in the UK. Im SO keen to move to the UK - especially if i make something of my music but also coz the scene sounds so much more appealing over there.

Not because I have anything against anyone wearing it but I just hate social groups. If anything it alienates outsiders and discourages unity between everyone. Kinda funny since kandi kids always bang on about PLUR.
Your posts make more sense every time i read them, legend!
Is nice to know someone agrees and it's not just me rambling on ;-).
Completely agree on the kid thing. I would hate to go to a rave that was full of 13-14 year olds. It would spoil my enjoyment and it's no place for them.
Influx - The age people starting to have sex can't get too much lower for the obvious technical reasons ;-p. I really agree that people are having sex too young now though. They can't truly understand it and wont be nearly as careful as they need to be.

Raves aren't like that here. Firstly there isn't people causing trouble in the same way you describe there, and secondly they are all over 18 apart from a very few under 18 ones (but then over 18's cant go to those).
As for bad impressions, those who go to raves either go to do drugs or at least don't care about those who do, so it's not really a problem here :P We also couldn't give a crap what any outsiders think :P
Spot on. :)

Problem is young people don't tend to think through consequences of their actions properly. Especially when it comes to a young, horny male wanting to get some. Someone at that age is not ready for the consequences anyway, be it strong emotions (especially for young girls!), children, sexual diseases, etc. You're also likely ill informed. I know people my age who still think you can't get preggers if you do this or that etc. etc.
At the end of the day though you're not going to care about that and you wont till you're older. I didn't and I'm sure no-one else did. You're young, enjoy it. Seems youth starts to slip away very quickly. :-(. .

thats really relevent to brisbane teenagers, because TRUST me, they are all the same, all stupid in that sense. If you are smart enough you should be able to make your own descisions, it's your own choice, not anyone elses.

its about life experience though.
No matter how much you read up on something it wont prepare you for seeing someone have a bad pill - and trust me - you wont know what to do.
No matter how much you read up on something it wont prepare you for seeing someones face for the first time as they tell you that they're pregnant - and you're the father.
Its stuff you dont have the maturity to deal with yet. You're going through puberty and whether you think you are or not, you are HEAPS emotional. Your emotions control you rather than you controlling your emotions for another few years. It makes it harder to know what you're doing and waht is a good decision when you're still getting to know yourself, and your body.
I dont belive someone who is 13 or 14 is capable of making a logical and reasonable decision about sex or drugs.

it's funny how
i remember when i was 13/14, was totally luvin the music and the whole raving idea; wishing i could go.
went to my first rave when i was 16...nearly 18 now =O and i must say, i'm glad as hell that i don't see little kiddies under 16 running around.
i tend to always be one of the youngest but there's no hate. always upfront with the dudes while the dj's playing out the filthiest tuness, rather than acting all ditzy like the youngin i really am. =P (btw i go completely sober and dance the night away till sunrise. have it!)

They lack the responsibility and the knowledge to know the risks and make a decision about it.
No offence to young people but it adds to the bad name that the rave scene has. By all means go to underage events, but dress responsibly and ACT responibly. sheesh.
There most likely already on drugs outside of raves.
This guy came to school last week high, but turned himself in cause he got so sick.
It's hard to image the city school since I live in such a small town.
And 13-14 y/o girls wearin almost nothin at raves. I think they just go to get ****ed.
I think if there wearin nothin and look like 9-13 y/o it's wrong and really discusting.
Girls with 9 y/o bodies and are 13 freak me out.
Maybe if they look like there 17 it's not as bad.

I do agree about underagers having sex, and it is getting worse and worse as the years go by. I'm 17 years old and still a virgin, my girlfriend is 15 (I'm NOT robbing the cradle, I'm a junior, she's a sophomore, so it's not THAT wierd... sorry I just get criticized on that a lot). and we've been dating for 7 months yet we have yet to have sex.
Why? Because she's a virgin and she's 15, I think 15 is way too young to have sex. I know if I wanted it I could "get it" but I respect her more than that, and I can express my love without "working her shit." naw mean? I'm doing it for the better of her mostly though, those females these days are like 12-13 and going out and getting preggy, that is absolutely rediculous. Anyone can commit to celibacy until they're 18, it isn't hard.
and if you have low willpower and are scared of going out with friends and getting hammered, and then getting knocked up... well just don't put yourself in those situations. I don't get those people that are like ex-alcoholics and are like "I don't drink anymore, but I still get tempted" and then they go out to parties and next thing you know they're hugging the toilet seat like "wtf happened?"
Well don't put yourself in a situation with tempting things you dumbass!
Sorry if this made no sense. I just felt like ranting cause i'm grumpy today.
