The orignal version is boring and too squarey, and it hasnt got the uplifting feel that the rocketeers[daydream] mix has.
It might be better engineered, but i MUCH prefer the rocketeers mix.

imo the brisk andbacon mix of angel eyes was shite IMO.
there have been countless mixes, sampling the same vocals, and much better than the brisk and bacon one.
Has anyone forgot Heart Of Gold? Sure the vocals are silly and Jenna's voice is cringey, but it will forever remain a classic. Didn't really like the original release, the one released later was of much higher quality and production standard.

Yeah and they were only distributed in the US (via phusion records i beleive it was), and more expensive than usual vinyl!
DOK never wanted the song released, he didn't like it, but it was so in demand that he ended up releasing it as described :P

Vocal isn't really any different from the original? Maybe your thinking of another tune!?!

personally i liked the brisk/ham remake of dok's luckystar. it's got a little gabber in it which made it badass. yea heart of gold is a classic but it is so damn annoying now. my best tunes are
brisk & trixxy- eyeopener
bang!- shooting star
charly lownoise & mental theo- wonderful days
dougal- a new feelling (vocal or instrumental either one is pretty damn good)
hp & ponder- white widow
and i also gotta say that alot of ham's trax r the greatest but i didn't wanna choose 1 over the other but here's list of them
about u
pay attention
there's a heaven
don't u know
crazy little fingers
rememberin the time
and there's an older one i can't think of the name of it right now but i think it's 'i believe'
