due to a higher demand? that does not make sense.  it's cheaper because it's taxed far less than it is in europe.

biofuel is taxed more in europe due to there is less of a demand due to most europeans have better public transportations. most europeans don't have to drive an hour or more to work daily. they tax it higher to keep the demand down and the fact that they don't have huge oil fields there...even though we hardly tap our reserve...
if they put their tax on our consumption the public would be in an outrage =P

ok higher demand as in we have a higher reliance that can't be circumvented, point taken!
