NYC does not equal USA. There are small pockets of hardcore scenes and dance music scenes around in the big cities (NYC, LA, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, etc.) but EDM goes largely unnoticed.
Unless of course it's Everytime We Touch by Cascade or Sandstorm by Darude!
