The only one I know about is Unity, who still does some old skool DJ sets.
The rest seem just to be hardcore history nowadays.

They come and go over time and i very much doubt any are still in the business anymore!
Out of that lot i only recognise Justin time, Jimmy j, demo and huxley.
I also think huxley only made one track of note

hardcore isn't something to make a career out of for a many people. it's not a really lucrative business especially from a producers point of view, and these one time artists habegale for example, probably just said f uck this after they made that first one.
in a way, i'm happy some of these people only made one track altho i agree, it'd be great to hear more from these artists.
they might have been amazing producers but they probably had other important stuff on their plate to deal with at the time. plus, that pokemon craze too ;).
i kinda feel myself like i'm growing out of this kind of sound (as much as i like it still) but i can totally understand why they quit. to each their own.
but yeah, i can't help but wonder what unfinished great tracks they had that never saw release?

I doubt anyone leaves because there isn't enough money in it. You would have to be pretty stupid to think you could make money from it to begin with. People generally do it for the music :P

i remember silver saying something about alphamagic ripping off a lot of people back in the day.
that's more what i was referring to there. that'd be enough of a deterrent for me if i was a budding producer, getting paid $0 for something i was (possibly) told i'd be receiving money for.
i didn't really mean for someone to make it their day job to pay all the bills. :P
