id be more inclined to say, "watever they did they wont get caught doing it again".
explaining why its wrong, and what they can do to help stop it happening again is much more likly to get a positive response in the long run, imo of course!
Agreed. And besides, if the thousands of years of "beat the shit out of them to prove you're right" worked, I doubt we would've screwed things up as much as we have.

That made me lol, that's the wannabe rivethead/mallgoth store, isn't it?
Heard a lot about it from (cyber)goths who loath what it's doing to their scene :p

you would actually be suprised how similar it is to school in australia. except for the smoking one

heard a funny story this weekend. a bloke went to a primary school outside of sydney. the students favourtie and most repected teacher there had a big thick wardrobewith these massive coat hangers in them. When a student misbehaved more than he rekoned allowable, he would take out a coat hanger and hang them up by their blazer in the wardrobe and wouldnt let them out util they tried to stop kicking the door open.
if they continued to muck up he would grab them and hold them out the window, which was on the second floor, and give them a thorough shaking.
and the way that things have changed from now to then - back then you wouldnt tell your folks what he did, because telling them meant that you were telling them you originally misbehaved, and then your folks would go to work on you.
