side chaining isnt a necessity, in fact i rarely use it when making hardcore, and i dont think many producers do.

Dear me.
I remember an interview with Dougal and Gammer filmed not so long ago, they mentioned they had only just started using side-chaining. Are you saying everything they did before this is shit as you have to use side-chaining for good results?

I didn't use bitcrushing in a track once, it sounded worse than a track which did. :(

Side-chain compression is the act of lowing the volume of an instrument when its struck the same time as another.
That would sound utterly shit in a build up. Do you know how much is going on in a build up?
perhaps you could tell us what you side-chained?
And no, sorry, it doesnt make everything come through better. EQ is generally a lot better than compression to seperate sounds in the mix.
And in agreement with sam, using buzzwords does not make you a beter producer matey, sorry.

Even if this is my first post, I just have to say that you're writing style reminds me of all the 10year olds from gaming forums. Which I browse alot.
Sorry, but seeing you write like that makes my eyes bleed. It also decrease ur overall impression of intelligence.
