I hope you guys can give me some advice or maybe some stuff to read, watch or listen.

your gonna need turntables (or cd mixers),a mixer & some records (or cd's). also an amplifier or a stereo to connect it all to. dont forget headphones!!!

like jimbob said
headphones, turntables, mixer, amps...
but you also need money when your buying records/cds
this is overlooked sometimes but you also need a sturdy table to set it on
something good so when you turn up the base it wont shake your turntables wich can off-set the needle or skip on your cd
but im sure youll be practicing in your room first.... so youll prolly need 2 30 watt amps
but most importantly study
alot
i mean make it your life
make sure THIS is what you want to do instead of just listening to mixes
you dont want to buy all your equipment not know how to use it and throw it away a week later...
thats all you need to know for now until you decide on what kind of equipment to buy...
(do you have any idea on what kind DJ you wanna be?)

It will be pretty intimidating to hear two different songs in your speakers/headphones while you try to get used to beatmatching and stuff but just remember this is not a race and to have some fun with it.
be prepared to get bored of your favorite tunes while you listen and study them for hours on end as you mix and get comfortable with them
best of luck and bump your thread if you have any questions. :D

my advice for this would be listen to your mp3 player and i-tunes/whatever at the same time
(its not the same as with headphones but it will give you an idea)
also if your starting ima recomend the gemini TT02 for your first turntable cause its basic
and another thing....
belt-driven motors might seem like a good option to get because theyre cheaper than direct-drive turntables, but dont. its much eaiser to scrath and so on with a direct-driven motor.
also the speed can fluctuate causing it extreme difficulty to beatmatch

Well first all thanks for the quick replies and like tunnelrush said this is just about having fun and just doing something with the music that i love. So I'm gonna try studying my favorite tunes as recommended and save up the money for equipment and I'll see from there what happens :) And to answer the question about what Dj i wanna be: Just a home amateur Dj and I'll probably stick to Uk Hardcore at first.

getting something because it looks easy to use is kinda silly man.. unless you just wanna muck around and are not interested in actually doing something extreme..
Its best and alot will agree to start with vinyls on a very basic system.. thus making it very hard to beatmatch and no fancy effects so you really have to concentrate and learn when to crossfade and how to cue... etc etc etc.. if you start on the fancy ones that do it all for you it can be like you'll get lazy and not put as much effort into as you could.. not that it will sound shit it will probably sound better but your only cheating yourself by using the fancy stuff and not gaining the many many original skills and tricks that are gained from the plain crap which you then carry to to new fancy toys and add that to their gear and you can have one hell of a show.
just my opinion, i've only just started myself some months ago and after speaking to alot of DJ's that play at all my favourite events they said the same thing.

Guess you do have a point there and if it gives me better practice i think it might be better to start of with vinyl instead of cd's

look up DJ Cotts on youtube, then DJ Ravine
there both pretty known hardcore as DJ's there, and Cotts is CDJ, while Ravine is vinyl DJ, even though he used serato, maybe itll help you figure out what you wanna get
I use the same decks as ravine, there like babies to me :P

Seriously go The Vinyl path if your a total Beginner.
I was recommended the Vinyl path and I am not regreting it :D
I do Have a CDJ1000MK3 and using a cdj is certainly different from mixing on a vinyl deck :)
Bottom Line is you should get 2x Technics 1200/1210 MK2's and a decent mixer and start buying some vinyls. :D
That's the way to go about it.
