Mainstream dance mags always list the top 50/100 dance DJ's every year and they(hardcore DJ's) never usually get a mention! but who would you say are the biggest 5 in the world? (this is not a top 5 of "Your" favourite ones) but who is most popular, influence, image ect!

Out of Hardcore I would say Scott Brown, Brisk, Sy, Sharkey, Kevin Energy, Hixxy, Styles, Vibes, Slipmatt, Dougal, Gammer and Billy 'Daniel' Bunter for being the most sought after DJs! In the scene, I would mostly go to a Vibes set out of those as well as maybe s Billy Bunter, Sharkey & Scott Brown set (If Scott is playing his classics) I can imagine their are more but those seem to be the UK's most renown DJs when it comes to demand!

Sy used to make those lists as well as Slipmatt - how times have changed.

Darwin has to be top because the tunes he has produced are class.

The topic is about good DJ's not producers.
Making good tracks does not make you a good DJ by default.
