I have noticed alot of people choose not to login until they actually find a message they want to reply too or choose to create a new topic, this is fine, but if you login the handest feature I find the best is the "Active Topics" link on the forum tool bar, it will show you all the new messages and reply's from when you last logged in or in the last hour etc... it's handy to find out whats new and if your message got a reply or not.

Also if you don't login the link to reply to posts in the forums will not appear.

im constantly logged in - its all about the active topics link :), thats is the first thing i click on when i get to the site...
wake up in the morning...click "active topics"..control + click open all the topics that have been posted in. if you use active topics you never miss a beat or topic, or reply
one of the reasons i dont get why people whine about "people not looking in release/tracks/mixes section" because if you are using "active topics" (like i bet alot of people are) you will not miss a thing as anythings thats new since your last visit shows up.
if you arent using active topics - start using it and stop being such a n00b :P
