i wouldn't call it a remix,i'd say it's a cover version since they didn't rip jo's vocals,they used kelly's instead.

but just like virus said,shooting star is truly a great song and deserves to be covered. it might even boost the sales of the original,you never know.

i don't see what all the disrespect (if you want to call it that) of flip n fill's version is about,so it's not hardcore but i still like it.

even though i'll admit it's nothing like the original, you should all take it as a compliment that a happy hardcore song has been covered for commercial release. it's not all about 4/4 beats and a piano riff remember. there is some serious talent and songwriting skill in happy hardcore songs.

right i'm gonna shut up now.

Actually it is not Kelly's vocals, as she has now gone solo, they have got a new vocalist.

It may be flattery but i wouldn't like it. I can remeber Nick saying sumfink bout him having no control over who copies it or sumfink like that coz it all goes thru agenst or sumfink ( i may be way off here it woz along time ago) I think it is only a good thing if flip and fill or whoever wanna start maikng cheap pants remixs of great songs, put a big up and maximun repsect sticker to the original hardcore artist, hardcore is a lil' scene but a great one which commands respect . in my opinion hard house hasnt built up the respect hardcore has and so it should show a nod of gratitude for the influence.
