i got my income tax return, and will soon be throwing out my old mixer.
no one answered my last post about this, so...
has anyone had any experience with korg products? i'm very seriously leaning towards one of their, and it seems like i'd be making my money go further by buying this over say... a pioneer one. (good as they are, the on i'd prefer is slightly outside of my budget)
i want to go off the beaten path a bit too and try something that not EVERYONE has, but i have no experience with any of their stuff.
so what i'd like to know is, do they make solid products in general? i realize they are new to the whole DJing thing, but as a cheaper alternative to the djm series of mixers, i think this really is the next in line.
i'm just like to know about build quality or experiences with korg in general. good? bad?
your feedback is appreciated.

This has been my only experience of Korg - back when I was about 13, and I didn't really appreciate it for what it was - I just liked making spaceship noises at the time.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korg_MS-20 Generally I think Korg are supposed to be ok - they do the Kaos Pad and that has a good rating

Korg synths are a must have in hardcore production if you ask me, but I'm not sure what their DJ range is like though

I've heard the Zero 4 and 8 are top notch, and km-202 and 402 are decent entry level mixers. I played with a zero 4 once and it was really smooth, though I don't have much experience, it felt really nice lol.

just made the purchase for the zero4 this morning.
can't wait 'til it gets here.
i've had my eye on it for a while and since it's considerably less than the djm-800 and has most of the same functions (and even some the 800 doesn't!) i figured id save myself the 800$ and buy it instead.
i'm interested to hear how the decimator measures up to the bit crusher effect because the youtube vids ive seen don't do a great job on the audio.
i doubt i'll be having (m)any regrets about it, and it'll be nice to get a mixer finally that doesn't bleed!!! >_<;;
