Well if you think this was the first magazine we have ever done. Its funded totaly off our own back and it was FREE, i think 5000 is about right.
When you think the big events in the uk like slammin vinyl and htid get at most about 4000 into an event that left us 1000 to send to usa/oz/canada etc. But we secured a deal to get 1000 into the shops across the uk which is wicked. There will be more of the next issue i can asure you that
In the future there may be back cat, but at the moment there is no plans for it.

I can understand why you flood the market at hardcore events to get interest in the mag! but that doesn't help people like me (37 with many excuses why I can't attend these places) but willing to suscribe to the mag! so I, can't get the first release (like a lot on here) but loads of people who have the free copy, and will never buy it again, have it! surely you should of saved some for yearly subscriptions, back issues ect? and also, you've send 1000 out to other countries? seems strange!

yea very strange...
with a bit more thought you would of realised that the 4000 at htid would have had them as there free - that basically has left you with none left... so no shops have them, most of the people on forums thats willing to pay wont have it..
surely u want to appeal to people that dont go to raves or dont know about hardcore, thats who i'd aim it at..
people at raves probably wont buy it as they will be using their money to get wasted...

It totally makes sense to me to send issues of the Core magazine in other countries! That way, people who aren't able to experience the main UK scene on a regular basis have a way to keep in touch!
I was so excited about the Core mag, thinking it would be another great way for me to stay connected to the Hardcore scene. Please don't dissapoint overseas fans by not making it available to them :(
