I dont know if this has happend to anyone else but i purchased 2 tracks from serious sounds website and the same day my credit card info was used to make fraudulent purchases in the u.k. this is the second time this has happened using the serious sounds website... i live in the united states so there isnt much i can do about it ....so if anyone that orders from overseas ...beware....
has anyone else had this problem please post your comments...thanks andy digi

If it is a fraudulent purchase your credit card should not fault you and you shouldn't lose money from it. Call the company and they should credit you as long as you can provide proof that it wasn't you (which shouldn't be too hard). One thing to look at is the amount of these charges, if they are small it could very well be charges for using an international card, currency conversion or the like.

my credit card company informed me after several high dollar purchases were declined....
i was just informing others ...so someone else doesnt have this kind of inconvenience like i had....

I've purchased multiple tracks from SeriousSounds.net, and everything went by perfectly.
I especially love this store because they are the only ones to feature Essential Platinum digital releases.

You should check your PC for a keylogger / virus as well, while I can't say exactly what happened you might want to check that somone isn't logging your keys and your credit card number.

I had my bank account wiped out a few years ago but it was because there was devices that people put on the Cash machines & when you put your card in, it steal's all the data from your card but you don't notice anything wrong. Just thought i'd say this as it may refresh your memory as there being something suspicious on you local cash machine. Also there will be a limit to how much money your card can give out so if the money that has been taken from your account matches your total limit in a day then this might be the case because they cut new cards then go to the cash machine & take as much as they can. Which is your account limit for the day.
Good old Bank of Scotland refunded my money & gave me a new account but forgot to close my original acount so I ended up getting double what those robbers took & got myself a free holiday in Ibiza! LOL. Cheers Robbers

a poorly coded one does :)
Why would you put the CC into a cookie? No one would do that, you might as well email the number to people. If a site remembers your CC details it's coming from their database not a cookie.

I have bought around 3-4 times from that store. But cant say I have ever had any problems afterwards.
But Im starting to wonder about the legality of the site aswell. There are still missing some tracks from the EPP backcat, like a-side for EPP010, EPP001 and EPP003 are missing aswell.
... ehm, i just bought from the serious sounds store... They use Paypal. There is NO WAY anyone could get your CC number, unless you have logged in to a fake website, or you're paypal has been hacked.
Check your browser history. If you didnt buy the tracks from throu Paypal, you've entered the wrong website. The website should be www.serioussounds.net

i guess i just got hacked ....paypal confimed that they do not give any info out....sorry if i bad mouth serious sounds....i guess i will just have to be more careful with my online purchases from now on.....

You have a keylogger installed on your PC when you visit paypal it's sending your details to someone.
Run this free virus scanner:

Should be able to detect it.
