If you DJ...which most of you obviously do, what songs do you think are extremely annoying to mix?

I was in my basement earlier trying to come up with the track list for my new mix, and I just CANT figure out how to mix Al Storms remix of I Want Your Love. I know that track 1llusion by Fretman is also a pain in the ass to mix.

Adam Harris - Over Now (sy and unkown rmx) (its just too fast and the lyrics come in so quick)

Sy, unknown and lou lou - be with you

Easiest song to mix in: Adam Harris - Love you forever (vagabond rmx)

Had trouble mixing the first, but the second's pretty easy really, just a typical Upfront tune. Had problems mixing in "Gammer & Devastate - The Spirit". I couldn't get my head round the structure , but sussed it now. Had problems with "Fly Away" too. Couldn't for the life of me mix in the intro of "Pendulum - Propane Nightmares". but any song is mixable, just needs a bit of time and effort to figure out how the hell your gonna do it lol.

I know what you mean when that bloody vocal carries on into the next bar? I just cut it a bit short or bring in the next song a bit later on after the last Breakdown.

Yea the ****ing vocal just goes into the next bar, its so god damn annoying. I try to find ways to mix out of it earlier or something, but for my next mix I think Im just going to play it last so I dont have to worry about it lol.

Jeremy- The Flow, one of the greatest Dutch Hardcore tracks ever yet has a two min long outro which just continues with the same repeated vocal & kick unti it finaly gives up although I am working on a way out of it! I have found Critical Mass- Burning Love goes with it well though...

Dougal & Eruption- Partytime is a pain in the backside as well & I found Demo's I've got a feeling a no hope until I at last found one track that was almost perfect (Go Mental- Sunshine after the rain) all of which are potentials for my next mix!

most sy and unknown tracks are eary as they have the same intro...

dont know about the original question. u have to thhnk about what style of hardcore it is and just coz say 10 tunes wont mix in or out of it doesnt mean you wont find one that will... space invader is a hard on i think!

Sharkey & Trixxy - Genesis. Great song, but it seems the only easy entry point is the part where the music cuts out and the guy is reading the verses. Difficult to go out of into other songs too because it just keeps going like the energizer bunny. Double Dutch - Delirious is a tad of a pain too. You can mix into it, but you don't have much time., and mixing out is confusing... multiple areas like at 3:47 or 5:00. Not much time to mix out of it near the end either.

I find the easiest to be Ham & DNA - About U. The "Keep makin' noise mother****er" just blends in with almost anything I can find, and the beat is solid.

i like taking rock and other songs and making a remix from them. the hardest if found to do this for is Pork and Beans by Weezer.

The intro is easy as anything, it was the end that was being annoying... Although then saying that the tarcks I was trying at the time had the most annoying & long intros lol
