Really sad that things like this happen. Its also a pity that perhaps one of the few times Finland makes the worldwide news, its because of something like this, and it would give the wrong impression of the country.
I cant imagine what family, friends, partners of the victims must be going through, such a shit way to die....

Damn, that's really sad. I can almost picture that happening in my old school at times, the way people complained. Glad I'm out of there now. I hope no one else turns up dead, 11 is almost as bad as Columbine...

Is really sad stuff that. Today seems to have really bad for news. (for a change, i hear you all cry). It's just i saw in various papers today this story of course but on top of that, a college woman being knifed by some masked person, a couple of other stabbings that to be perfectly honest i just don't wanna read about, hearing about these things is bad enough.
The worst thing i saw today though and had to read was the story of this 33 year old man who works in a garage.
He had his baby daughters of 3 and 14 months to look after as he and their mother had split some months before. He had smothered them with pillows and left them together on the bed of a caravan he was living in since breaking up with the girl (who is 20). He then rang her and said "The children are sleeping now forever, and soon i will be to" then goes into the garage and hangs himself. Police arrived a short time after to find the two babies on the bed and his body too.
Horrible. Hate to think what was going through the guy's mind before he did it. the sheer anguish and desperation. Reminds me of that guy recently who set his house alight with all his family in it and he barricaded the entrances to his estate so services couldn't get in to stop it in time.
The world's a mental place with some seriously f'd up people.

I'd probably call the cops and huddle in a corner. That's so damn creepy, yet sad.
And really horrible news about the shooting.
Our school here had a shooting once, but only one teacher died, rumors came up before homecoming of some kid planing to bring a gun to the dance. People now just piss me off, there all drama over stuff which just ruins the kid who's supposively gonna bring a gun to school and I don't even know whats going on until a note comes out from the school,
