At last my latest mix is finally ready! 28 tracks which are erither by Scott Brown or his remixes of other tracks!
Starts with some of his more recent stuff including Fly with you, Prince of Darkness & Blue RAnthem & then goes into some 90s Happy Hardcore & Trancecore with tracks such is the original version of Elysium, Andromeda & both of the older version of Lost Generation! After that it is a bit of Bouncy Techno, one of the styles which wouldn't have taken off if it wern't for Scott Brown & then a bit of Gabber, some older tracks under his Genaside aliases & some newer Gabber tracks!
As usual leave me feedback & let me know what you liked! Will have a full Bouncy Techno mix next which I have also just started so keep your eyes open for that!

i dunno man. i just thought it was alright.
a few tips
1. Watch your QUE lvls coming into your running track. Make sure they match.
2. Drop your LOWs out with bringing in the new track. Helps trick the listeners ears. Makes it more seamless.
3. Double and Triple check your beat matching.
:)
But it was good. PROPS.

think you should stick to practicing and producing a solid demo before putting it online.
not a good showing in my opinion.
but if you want to promote yourself as a bad dj then that's fine, but i think that you put way too many mixes online and not a single one of them are any good. hear of the term quality over quantity?
i personally don't think props are due when something is not up to par, so i will not give you props. just because you simply post a mix does not immediately make one a dj.
back to the drawing board.

since when did i call myself a real dj? because i enjoy what i do because i take someoneelse's tune and call it my own? I work hard each week so i can buy all my favorite tracks thank you very much! I enjoy putting mixes together for myself & put them online for people to enjoy but if people dont like them then i dont care, you wont have to hear them again! Now if you dont mind im going back to my mates and have a few drinks! Im not giving up i just wont put my mixes up anymore! 2unlimeted is on and im
going to pretend it is 1993 again!

It wasnt intended to be hostile, im just pointing it out ;p
You don't need to take it down, or stop uploading them if you don't want to. (I never said that either) In my opinion bad feedback in genuinly good feedback because at least then you know its honest, so you can work and improve on the aspects people dislike and make your mixing better overall. Its not something you can learn overnight and expect to be amazing at.
How do you record your mixes? Vinyl, CDJs or a computer program? How do you beatmatch, is there anything you find difficult in particular? (Usually beatmatching is the hardest part to learn)

Well brother, I didn't think that this line from your original post was open to interpretation. You see, I gave you feedback, now didn't I? If all you wanted was props for a job well done then you should have posted a better mix. If you can't handle criticism then why did you post it? And if quitting after receiving a negative response is the answer then maybe you should try checking your ego at the door and humbling yourself before you post mixes.

Listened to it mate and, sorry, but it's the same crack as usual. Great tracklist, no doubt, but you still need more practice. Your beat-matching and understanding of structure need work.
Don't take the negative feedback personally. It wasn't great and people are just pointing out the flaws, but surely that's better than them saying: "it's brilliant! more of the same please". At least this way you'll know where you're going wrong and can learn from it for next time.
Don't upload another mix for a while if you don't want until you've got the hang of it, but don't do it just 'cos you've got a bit of bad feedback. Chin up mate and carry on mixing

On the DL now smoogie, looking forward to hearing sum of these Scott Brown tracks you've been telling me about mate. I was gutted to see someone as clued up in the old skool ways as u, saying your not posting anymore mixes. We need more DJ's like yourself keeping the old skool alive. It's all just practice, practice, practice mate. If I find out you've given up on making mixes i'm going to come down to England & stick my foot up your arse! lol

Mix needs work mate, all about practicing and learning... how long have you been mixing for?
- Also do not give up if you get a negative feedback, you came on here looking for feedback, don't give up, keep practicing if you really want it.
Peace.

I will say this though, for someone that has been mixing for only a short time (respective to time past) you're on the right track. I do not intend to be critical for the sake of being mean, however I found that in my progression of learning and practice that when people only gave the utmost positive feedback without any critical response that it didn't actually help, rather it just stroked ego. Please do not take my feedback as being from a cold heart as I do wish that new djs become better and replace the ones that are either retiring or getting beyond the hardcore scene.
I practice every day for the most part, and have been doing so for nearly a decade. Not so that I can hear tight music all the time, however so that I can get better and try more creative mixing. I'm not perfect by any means but I will tell you that with practice, not only will your skills become sharper, but you will not only find more satisfaction in your own ability, but you will find a greater satisfaction in the music that you are playing.
Keep your head up, and don't give up!
You're part of a scene that depends on people like you to keep it going so old guys like me can use walkers and hearing aids lol :)
