Just wondering why most people love the classic happy hardcore music?

Because they're silly tits. Teehee, I'm just kiddin'. It's probably what they started listening to and what they like. Just like cheesy me like cheese doodles

it has a fun bouncy feel, and a lot happier / more original sounding than some of the crap 'core being churned out today.
it also more raw / full sounding due to not being as compressed or whatever.
the kick in older tracks is just so in your face and awesome.

Because i grew up listening to it. I loved the way it sounded different to all the other chart music crap mates were into. When i was young i didn't really care much for anything in the charts so i got into Hardcore.

Simlar reasons to me.

I feel modern hardcore music cares too much about image and being accepted. The old stuff had a sense of not caring and not conforming.
For instance styles and hixxy and wanting a pop image stuff like that :P

a lot of the new stuff is boring, bland and unoriginal. not all of it, but a lot of it. it's a turn off and the dancers and ravers can tell what's good and what's not good. if they don't want to hear it, what good is it to play it?
i play only a select few labels of new stuff. the rest of my collection is older stuff.

because it brings back memories...i think thats one of the most powerful things about music, the ability to take you back so vividly to better times. i want to be able t make ppl feel that way w/ my music. :)

in the 90's those sounds were cutting edge.
at least to me they were. prior to that point in my life I was heavily into shred metal and I dunno, I guess distorted guitars got boring(another element which at some point was also cutting edge in music).my musical mind yearned to figure out what made all those cheesy sounds.
nowadays it seems almost anyone with a computer and a little dedication can create "decent" sounding hardcore almost as if the formula for it were lying around deep (or perhaps, not so deep) in the internet.

Yeah there were a lot more different sounds in tracks back then.... I think there was more character and vibe at raves in the 90's too.
