I like how the song Hixxy, Dougal & Gammer - Phaze 2 Phaze puts it... epic strings that move your very existince, an archaic melody that will reach down and touch your soul, an uncontrolable force, a feeling where one moment in time nothing will stand in your way...

i think that says it best as to the way i feel everytime i hear hardcore

When I hear hardcore...
Fisrt of all I tend to feel jaded as I've heard most of it before, maybe not the song itself but so many that sound like it.
Sometimes it will hit me in an instant that I like "this track"
When I hear older stuff and things from my collection I still feel the same kind of wonder about the music that I did 13 years ago. Everynow and then somthing comes up these days that invokes similar feelings but nothing like it used to be.
