1994-1997. 1998 is when the trace elements started taking over in the Happy Hardcore sound. The thing is, what are we going to call 2003-present 10 years down the road? We can't have two "old skools".

I remember reading some interview where they asked Sy at what point did he consider a track turning ol' skool. I beleive he said it was 7 years.

Everyone has their own ideas of what Old Skool is. I personally consider Old Skool to be the early Breakbeat days of Hardcore.
