His accent is weird but the fact that he keeps it and that he sounds like he does makes his voice unique!

To be honest, I quite enjoy his voice, and the track is banging anyhow...

Hi thanks for the big ups on this
Just to let you all know that this will be on my artist album on AATW which will be out early next year.
There will be a slower mix and you will soon get fed up of hearing this choon soon
There is another hardcore mix of it which has been kept under wraps for release
Im currently working on follow ups and some other Sharkey vocal tracks that are in the same sort of style and some other styles that Todays the Day has opened up
Hopefully wont be too long before it hits your record boxes

I hope this song gets released in the near future, and if it does I will be buying it right away.
I think Sharkey did an amazing job with the song. His vocals are nothing amazing, which probably explains why he warped them so much in this track, and they would have been totally disregarded on a regular, more generic UK Hardcore song. Aren't they original and quite amusing though? Something very out there, that I hadn't really seen in hardcore before and I surprise myself actually singing along more and more everytime it comes on. The melody, the instruments and the sweet addition of Lisa Abbot's harmonies make this song a memorable and very energetic Happy Hardcore number.
I understand your opinion Kathryn, as I was annoyed by the song the first time I heard it, partially because of the vocals. Its a shame that you didnt bother to give the song a couple more listens though, because there is much depth to be discovered in this song and its one of those tracks that grow on you very quickly.

This tune is stunning.
Sharkey's voice is SO different from any other voice I know. It's just so raw, makes me go nuts!
What really makes this tune is that he combined elements - Lisa Abbott's backing vocals turns this into a bit of a crazy duet. I just love it.
Sharkey: I'm sure the new hardcore mix you've made of this is wicked too - but the original was so good I think you should make sure you release both.

then again if it really short you will have no chance of getting a decent edit.

Unless you have it as a lossless format its just going to sound like shit!

I like his voice too, but with all the vocoders and whatnot that he modified it with, it doesn't seem so "raw" to me :P I didn't know there was a remix made of it! Have you heard it yet?

I haven't heard the remix...Sharkey just posted about it in this thread :P
And he doesn't have all that many effects on the voice IMO. Sharkey just has a unique voice to begin with.
Have you ever heard him MC? You'd think there's effects on it but there isn't really. Although I guess sometimes there's reverb but that doesn't count.

haha yeah, I've got to see him @ HTID In The Sun 2007, and he's a special one, especially on stage with the mic :P
