I think Impact is one of the best producers out there but it seems he doesn't get the recognition and fame he should? Or is it just me that thinks he's absolutely marvelous?
The mix that sold me was his July 2007 Mix. It has amazing tunes like Summer Sun (one of my faves ever), Stay, I Believe (these last two with Orbit1), I Wish, Breakaway, Don't Let Go... Then there's his remixes of Worlds Apart and Blown Away. Maximum quality! After that, I looked for more Impact stuff and I seemed to find almost everything had very good quality. I fell quickly for All I Need, Close Your Eyes, The Funky Technician, Back In The Days to name some. Surely, many are collaborations with other producers as well but he still has a finger in every tune. :)
Then came his July 2008 Mix which too was awesome, though not as great as 2007.
Anyone else agree or disagree?

I remember hearing some stuff by him over a year ago. It was all really good.
Agree.

And likes good jam.
is probably semi-made of jam.
I've been a fan since i heard Sunrise which he did with resist. Been a fan ever since. I may or may not have had him engineer a track fro me a while ago.

Yeah I'm surprised he has'nt got more tracks on the big labels like raver baby or got signed mixed cds etc... But these days the amount of new talent in the hardcore scene these past 5 years is just crazy. Orbit1, Joey Riot, Nu Foundation, S3rl, Sc@r, Kurt, Tecknicore, Re-con, Squad-e, Architect, Vagabond - could go on for ever.

Squad-E is the newest of those, isn't he? Re-Con and Kurt have been around for many years.

its more like he's new to hardcore.
he makes some sort of dance music under the alias hypasonic.
his tracks were on clubland x-treme hardcore 2 tho, so he aint that new.

Seems to me he started releasing of his multiple aliases around the same time. Squad-E's first tracks were on Bonkers 15, so he's still fairly new I guess.
Impact has definitely been there for a while and is still kicking.

I don't mean last 6 months new. I'm talking last 5 years like I said. Impact is very talented. But his sound is'nt really unique. Most of his tracks sound just like the stuff Weaver, Hixxy, UfO etc do... Trancey and vocally.

But I still find I like his tracks more than UFO, Hixxy and Weaver - most of the time.
