Hi guys,
I'd like to know why Scott Brown produced almost the same track twice. Does anyone know ? I have both songs, Elysium and Elysium +, but what was that for ?
Which one do you prefer btw ? I think Elysium + sounds happier :).
PS : I'm not talking about the Ultrabeat remix.

Elysium+ was simply a slightly updated version to kick off his Evolution Plus sublabel.

Oh okay. Thanks mate :). Scott Brown should come back to the roots and make more tracks like this.

I like the original Elysium better. Did Scott Brown write this piece, or did he take the melody out of something else and just spice it up?

Elysium plus is just a bit of an updated version.
To be honest I prefer the original by far. Absolutely a quality tune.

I think he's not what he used to be anymore.
In E+ they are 2-3 notes that have been changed in the piano and that actually makes it happier. I don't really care about the rest of the song, it's the piano which is so special for me. I just love it.

That's actually my favourite out of the 3. But between Elysium and Elysium+ i prefer the +.

He redid it because the original track was a B side on EV40, Don't quote me but from what Scott told me he didn't really think much of the track but it gained alot of play around the world and thus became a A single and re-release.
I must admit I never played it when it first came out, the A side of EV40 was much better IMO.

Never heard "Return To Elysium"
Is it in the same direction as "Return To Toytown" was?

Everytime I Close My Eyes is such a classic! I'm not surprised it overshadowed Elysium at the time of release either. Scott Brown gave the song a much needed update with + I think.
